Cornice is a design-build firm working on whole-home renovations, kitchens, and baths across the greater Boston area. We were founded on a simple complaint: too many renovation estimates are guesses dressed up as numbers.
Every project that comes through our studio gets sized the way a structural drawing gets sized — real span tables for header beams, real coverage rates for paint and flooring, a real critical-path schedule instead of a round number like “12 to 16 weeks.” Clients get to see the math, not just the total.
We keep project counts small on purpose. Our principal is on site at every framing inspection and every punch list, not just the sales walkthrough. That is the only way the numbers on paper and the numbers on site stay the same number.
